Why self-custody
When a company holds your coins, your balance depends on that company. In a self-custody wallet, only you have the key: no one can freeze, move or lose your money. We want to make this model simple for anyone, with text in your language, clear warnings and security first.
Where we're headed
After the wallet come payments for businesses (charges by QR code and payment link), followed by a payment gateway with an API for online stores. Always on the same principle: the money goes straight to the wallet of whoever is being paid.
Where we are
The wallet is in development. Before launch, the code will be open sourced and go through an independent security audit. People who join the waitlist are invited to the beta test.
How we work on the news
Kripto Pay Notícias, our news portal in Portuguese, reports on and explains what's happening with cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, regulation and payments. Artificial intelligence agents help follow industry sources and prepare drafts, and no story goes live without being reviewed and approved by a person on our team.
- We only publish facts that are in the source, and the source appears at the end of every story, with a link.
- We don't make investment recommendations or price predictions. Third-party opinions, when they appear, are attributed.
- We don't get paid to talk about projects or tokens. Sponsored content, if it ever exists, will be labeled.
- Errors are corrected in the story itself, with a note about the correction. Spotted a mistake? Let us know.
